CERTIFECATE OF ORIGIN

The section of certificates of origin and attestation is the out look of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, trough it investors and exporters can find every thing. The section is working to achieve the vision of the Chamber represented in its commitment by offering unique services and of an added value type to the customers in Ajman Emirate to reach continuous development and distinction. The Chamber issues certificates of origin to establishments and companies and their membership should be valid. Certificates of origin shall be issued in accordance with the bill and documents which are presented by the dealing person or if required by the concerned employee and the chamber has the right, in any case to obtain the documents which it may be deemed suitable to check the accuracy of the information.

To obtain the National Certificates of Origin and which is desired to be exported, it is conditional that the dealing person should present a bill typed on a type writer containing the following information:

  • The name of the establishment which is exporting the goods (it should be identical to the chamber records).
  • The establishment membership number that exporting the goods.
  • Details related to the goods.
  • The name and address of the importer.
  • The name of the consignee country.
  • Actual value of goods.
  • Type and value of goods in details.
    Signature of the owner of the establishment or the authorized person.
  • The goods which are desired to be exported should be of a national origin type, the establishment should have obtained a valid industrial license from the Ministry of Industry and Finance and it is a condition that the doubling value of the final product should not be less than 40%.
  • If the goods are exported to the (GCC) countries, its exemption from custom charges requires obtaining a certificate of origin issued by the Ministry of Econom
Re exported goods .

The following conditions should be provided in the bill:

  • The name of the exporting establishment and it should be identical to the chamber records.
  • The name of the consignee country.
  • The name of the importer and his address.
  • Type of goods and its value.
  • The goods origin.
  • The signature of the owner of the exporting establishment or the signature of the authorized person on his behalf, seal establishment and the bill’s date of issue.

 

Exporting Personal Belongings or Used Cars Procedures.

The Chamber issues special certificates of origin for personal belongings and used cars.

The chamber has prepared a special form for that purpose, so that the applicant may be able to fill the following particulars:

  • The name and address of the consignor.
  • The name and address of the consignee.
  • Details and type of goods.
  • Approximate value of goods.
  • Signature of the goods owner.
In case of used cars the exporter should fill a special form prepared by the chamber with an attached car tripping certificate. Dealings Attestation Procedures

If you desire to attest any dealing, the followings are requested to be observed:

  • The establishment membership number should be mentioned to facilitate the procedures.
  • The dealing should be typed on a type writer.
  • The establishment should be registered in the chamber with a renewed membership
Certificates of Origin Amendment Procedures
  • The exporter may in future desires to modify some information mentioned in the certificate of origin as modifying the name of the consignee, bill value, goods origin or any thing else.
  • In this case the exporter should bring all copies of previous certificates of origin to perform the required amendment.
